1. Acceptance of these Terms

The eMIS platform ("the Platform", "we", "us") is an education management information system provided to authorised State Ministries of Education, education boards, schools, and their approved personnel. By accessing or using the Platform — whether as an administrator, school officer, teacher, student, parent/guardian, or other authorised user — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

Where you use the Platform on behalf of a school, board, or ministry, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on that organisation's behalf.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and only for its intended education-administration purposes. You must not:

Because the Platform processes records relating to children, misuse that could expose, endanger, or harm a minor is treated with the utmost seriousness and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

5. Data & Records

6. Payments

Where the Platform supports payments (for example wallet top-ups, fees, or service charges), such transactions are processed through third-party payment providers. You are responsible for the accuracy of the payment details you submit. Charges, refunds, and reconciliation are handled in accordance with the policies of the School Authority and the applicable payment provider. The Platform does not store full card or bank credentials; these are handled by the payment provider under their own terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform's software, design, structure, and underlying code are the property of the Platform's provider and its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership in the software to you. Records and Content entered by or on behalf of a School Authority remain the property of that authority. You may use the Platform only as permitted by these Terms and your authorised role.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated through the School Authority where practicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its provider are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform, nor for loss resulting from unauthorised access caused by a user's failure to safeguard their credentials. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Suspension & Termination

The relevant School Authority or the Platform provider may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where access is no longer authorised, or where necessary to protect the security or integrity of records. On termination, your right to access the Platform ends; records are retained or disposed of in line with the Privacy Policy and the School Authority's retention rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, in law, or in operating requirements. The "Last updated" date above shows when the latest version took effect. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be directed to your School Authority (the State Ministry of Education, education board, or school that granted your access), or to the Platform administrator via the contact channel provided to your organisation:
